Which companies sponsor visas for growth marketing managers in Michigan?
Detroit-based employers with established immigration programs include Rocket Companies, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and Stellantis. Ann Arbor's tech and healthtech sector adds employers like Duo Security (now part of Cisco) and various University of Michigan spin-offs. Larger corporations with dedicated HR and legal teams are generally more consistent visa sponsors than early-stage startups in the state.
Which visa types are most common for growth marketing manager roles in Michigan?
The H-1B is the most common visa for growth marketing managers in Michigan, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Candidates with extraordinary achievement in performance marketing may explore the O-1A. Australians are eligible for the E-3, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa in business categories.
Which cities in Michigan have the most growth marketing manager sponsorship jobs?
Detroit and its surrounding metro, including Dearborn and Auburn Hills, account for the largest share of growth marketing manager sponsorship activity in Michigan, driven by automotive and fintech employers. Ann Arbor is a secondary hub with strong ties to the University of Michigan, supporting a pipeline of marketing-focused tech companies. Grand Rapids has a smaller but growing presence in the healthcare and manufacturing marketing space.
How to find growth marketing manager visa sponsorship jobs in Michigan?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse growth marketing manager openings in Michigan without sifting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. The platform is built for international candidates, so listings are screened for sponsorship signals relevant to H-1B, E-3, and TN applicants. Searching by Michigan and filtering to growth marketing manager roles surfaces the most relevant current openings.
Are there any Michigan-specific considerations for growth marketing manager visa sponsorship?
Michigan employers sponsoring H-1B workers for growth marketing manager roles must pay the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for that occupation in the relevant metro area, which differs between Detroit, Ann Arbor, and smaller markets. Michigan's automotive and mobility industry brings a niche demand for growth marketers with B2B and technical product experience, which can strengthen a sponsorship case by demonstrating specialized skills not easily sourced domestically.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth marketing manager jobs in Michigan?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
