Overview
East West Bank is currently seeking a Cross Border Relationship Manager. This new position will have a primary focus on Cross Border banking with the opportunity to also pursue other traditional C&I opportunities. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for the overall production and growth of the Cross Border Banking team. The ideal candidate for this role at East West Bank is a strong business development RM with contacts and understanding of cross border banking. Cross Border Relationship Manager candidate must have international/cross border banking experience with primary focus on the Greater China Markets. As an East West Bank employee, you will be part of a growing and stable organization that provides career path development opportunities while serving a growing and profitable market.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes a high degree of creativity and independence in developing and managing a large portfolio of diverse and complex clients
- Banking relationships in the US, Greater China markets with a key focus on capturing the significant opportunities associated with nearshoring
- Acts as a consultant to clients and a resource to the Bank in developing and retaining business
- Demonstrates solid product and operational knowledge
- Possesses excellent corporate finance knowledge depending on the diversity of the portfolio
- Responsible for attaining established individual, department, and Bank financial goals
- Perform and/or oversee underwriting and forecasting for all loans; responsible for high quality work product consistency
- Other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Various backgrounds in finance supported by Bachelor’s or Masters degrees are preferable
- 15+ years of relevant business experience selling financial loans to customers in the banking industry and in the cross-border area
- Demonstrates high level of expertise in sales, networking, negotiation, business acumen, relationship building and execution of responsibilities
- Possess proficient interpersonal communication, writing and group presentation skills
- Must have cross border banking experience
COMPENSATION
The base pay range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $225,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
