ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Design and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test procedures in alignment with established quality standards (6%).

- Evaluate data and key quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize QA team operations (5%).
- Participate in effort estimation and maintain comprehensive project test documentation (4%).
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence (6%).
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and suggest enhancements to QA processes and tools (5%).
- Partner with product development, engineering, and operations teams to integrate quality standards into the product lifecycle (5%).
- Analyze defect trends and root causes to improve test coverage and quality outcomes (5%).
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with other departments to ensure quality expectations are met throughout the organization (4%).
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality reviews by providing test evidence and documentation (3%).
- Guide testers on the project and provide support with complex SQL queries and utilities needed for white/gray box testing (4%).
- Prepare and maintain test reports, defect metrics, and quality documentation for project stakeholders (4%).
- Ensure all product releases meet defined quality criteria prior to production deployments (4%).
- Provide active support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in resolving issues in Production environments (4%).
- Stay current with industry trends, new quality management methodologies, and regulatory changes affecting product quality (2%).
- Contribute to identifying and implementing new tools and technologies to enhance quality assurance processes (3%).
- Investigate production defects or customer reported issues in collaboration with support teams (4%).
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentoring to QA team members on testing approaches, tools, and quality best practices (8%).
- Contribute to onboarding efforts by supporting knowledge transfer and helping develop or refine training materials (3%).
- Participate in interviews as a technical subject matter expert, when requested, to assess testing skills and domain knowledge (2%).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any Engineering major plus 8 years of experience in software quality assurance in testing methodology and database automation using Java scripts.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- SQL;
- Java scripts;
- ETL Tools;
- HP ALM, Jira, and TestRail Test Management Tools;
- Bugzilla Defect Tracking tools;
- Selenium and Junit Automation Tools;
- Testing with Postman, SoapUI API Tools;

- CI/CD Jenkins Tools.
SALARY:
$130,110 per year. Telecommuting Permitted within the Sacramento, CA metro area.
