ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing complex federal and state tax returns while providing technical tax support to clients and engagement teams. Emphasis on California tax compliance and planning for individuals and businesses.
- Prepare and review federal and multistate tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and pass-through entities with an emphasis on California tax
- Research tax issues and assist with tax planning opportunities for clients
- Serve as a primary contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships

- Real estate entities and investors
- High-net-worth individuals and families
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with QuickBooks and QBO
- Strong accounting / bookkeeping background
- Experience with tax preparation software CCH Axcess, Prosystem or Lacerte and paperless workflow environment
- Specific knowledge of California income tax
- CPA or CPA-candidate preferred
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: $96,500 - $124,000 a year
The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
