Which companies in Colorado sponsor visas for network administrators?
Defense and aerospace contractors including Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and L3Harris have sponsored network administrator roles in Colorado, as have large healthcare systems like Centura Health and SCL Health. IT services firms such as DXC Technology and Conduent also have a history of H-1B sponsorship for infrastructure and network roles in the Denver metro area.
Which visa types are most common for network administrator roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa for network administrators in Colorado, provided the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field. Some candidates also qualify under the TN visa if they are Canadian or Mexican citizens. L-1B transfers are an option for network professionals moving within a multinational employer to a Colorado office.
Which cities in Colorado have the most network administrator sponsorship jobs?
Denver and its surrounding suburbs, including Aurora, Englewood, and Broomfield, account for the large majority of network administrator sponsorship roles in Colorado. Colorado Springs is a secondary hub, driven by a concentration of defense contractors and military-adjacent IT employers. Boulder sees some demand from university-connected tech companies, though at lower volumes than Denver.
How to find network administrator visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find network administrator openings in Colorado without sorting through roles that don't support international candidates. You can search by state and job category to surface employers actively filing H-1B petitions for network and infrastructure roles across the Denver metro and Colorado Springs areas.
Are there any Colorado-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for network administrators?
Colorado's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program are benchmarked to Department of Labor wage levels for the Denver-Aurora metropolitan area, which reflects the region's above-average IT compensation. The University of Colorado and Colorado State University produce a pipeline of international graduates in computer science and IT, meaning employers in the state are generally familiar with sponsoring OPT and H-1B candidates for technical roles including network administration.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored network administrator jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
