Which companies in Colorado sponsor visas for product leads?
Denver-based companies including Palantir Technologies, Ibotta, and Havenly have sponsored product lead roles in recent years. Larger employers like Arrow Electronics, DaVita, and Trimble also maintain active sponsorship programs. Boulder's startup community, including companies in SaaS and edtech, sponsors product roles as well, though sponsorship frequency varies by company size and hiring cycle.
Which visa types are most common for product lead roles in Colorado?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for product lead roles in Colorado, as product management is generally considered a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. L-1B intracompany transferee visas apply when candidates transfer from a foreign affiliate into a product role. O-1 visas are an option for candidates with documented exceptional achievements in product or technology.
Which cities in Colorado have the most product lead sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of product lead sponsorship jobs in Colorado, driven by its concentration of established tech companies and corporate headquarters. Boulder follows closely, supported by a dense startup ecosystem and proximity to the University of Colorado. Colorado Springs has a smaller but growing presence, particularly in defense technology and government contracting-adjacent product roles.
How to find product lead visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to find product lead roles in Colorado without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can search by location and role type to surface companies actively hiring sponsored product leads in Denver, Boulder, and beyond. Focusing on employers with prior H-1B filing history in product management improves your chances of a serious conversation.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for product leads seeking visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to post compensation ranges publicly, which gives sponsored candidates useful context when evaluating offers against Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions. The state's strong pipeline from CU Boulder and Colorado State University in computer science and engineering also means competition for product lead roles can be high, particularly at mid-market tech companies in the Denver-Boulder corridor.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product lead jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
