Which companies in Delaware sponsor visas for project management analysts?
Wilmington-based financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Barclays, have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for project management analyst roles in Delaware. Life sciences firms like Incyte and legacy chemical companies with Delaware operations also appear in DOL disclosure data as sponsors. Government contractors supporting federal and state agencies in the Dover area represent another sponsoring employer segment.
Which visa types are most common for project management analyst roles in Delaware?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for project management analysts in Delaware, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa category if their degree and job duties align with the relevant NAFTA/USMCA occupation classification.
Which cities in Delaware have the most project management analyst sponsorship jobs?
Wilmington generates the large majority of project management analyst sponsorship activity in Delaware, driven by its concentration of banking, financial services, and corporate headquarters. Newark sees demand connected to the University of Delaware's research operations and nearby technology employers. Dover, as the state capital, produces opportunities through government agencies and the contractors that support state and federal operations in the region.
How to find project management analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to surface project management analyst openings in Delaware without sorting through roles that don't sponsor. You can search by role title and state to see which Delaware employers are actively hiring internationally, which is particularly useful given that Wilmington's financial services market and the state's pharmaceutical sector generate most of the sponsorship activity for this role.
Are there any state-specific considerations for project management analysts seeking sponsorship in Delaware?
Delaware's incorporation-friendly legal environment means a large share of Fortune 500 companies maintain a registered presence in the state, but actual hiring of project management analysts is concentrated in Wilmington's financial district and Newark's technology corridor. Employers must meet DOL prevailing wage requirements for the specific work location, so wage levels correspond to the Wilmington metropolitan area rather than national averages. The University of Delaware also serves as a pipeline, with some OPT holders transitioning into sponsored roles at regional employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management analyst jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
