YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance operations at facility to ensure optimal equipment uptime, efficiency, and facility safety.
- Oversee in-house maintenance technician(s), and contractors, establishing work priorities and ensuring tasks are completed safely and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage contracts and vendor relationships for contracted work.
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all critical manufacturing assets, minimizing unplanned downtime and production interruptions.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to identify and resolve equipment and process issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support new project implementations.
- Monitor maintenance budget.
- Ensure maintenance records, work orders, and documentation are accurately maintained in compliance with Nutrien policies.
- Manage DOT compliance and driver qualification files.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Associates degree in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in operating processing plant environment such as food processing, chemical processing or pharmaceutical or training equivalent required.
- 2+ years of forklift experience preferred.
- 2+ years of experience/training in making repairs on typical chemical processing equipment.
