MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB EXPECTATIONS:
- Assist with lean/continuous improvement projects.
- Install and inspect machinery on the manufacturing floor.
- Install and inspect electrical equipment on the manufacturing floor.
- Troubleshoot/repair machinery to minimize downtime.
- Perform brazing, welding, and basic fabrication tasks.
- Inspect in-process and finished products for quality compliance.
- Use of standard tools to perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
- Versatilely use different forms of measurement and test equipment to ensure specification standards are met.
- Ensure machinery is operated correctly to maintain quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 3-5 years' experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance preferred
- Good fine motor skills, hand dexterity
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift to 50-75 lbs.
