ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Supervisor position is an important role within the company, as the incumbent directly assists the Account Manager on a day-to-day basis.
Operations Supervisor Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the Account Manager in coordinating crews daily to ensure that work is done efficiently, safely, and promptly in accordance with company standards.
- Communicating with the Account Manager regarding the status of ongoing jobs.
- Reporting all findings to the Account Manager and following up on incidents to confirm a resolution on time.
- Ensuring crew members have the proper equipment to do their jobs, and that equipment is properly maintained and/or used in accordance with safety regulations.
- Performing "walk-throughs" of client properties.
- Completing daily paperwork & communicating effectively with office staff.
- Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the company culture, in particular, regarding safety, quality, and customer service.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have tropical plant knowledge.
- Positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic and be willing to lead by example.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of the landscaping industry or horticulture is a must.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Must have a clean criminal and driving record.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Experience in maintaining equipment preferred.
- Must be able to coordinate and effectively communicate with crews in a fast-paced environment.
