Which companies sponsor visas for service operations managers in Florida?
Florida's largest visa sponsors for operations-related roles include hospitality companies like Marriott International and Hilton, healthcare systems like HCA Healthcare and AdventHealth, and logistics firms operating through Port Miami and Port Everglades. Technology companies expanding in Tampa and Miami, including Citigroup's regional offices and Chewy's headquarters, have also filed H-1B petitions for service operations management positions.
Which visa types are most common for service operations manager roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for service operations managers in Florida, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field such as business administration, industrial engineering, or supply chain management. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa category. Candidates with multinational employer relationships may also be eligible for an L-1A intracompany transferee visa if moving from a foreign office.
Which cities in Florida have the most service operations manager sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for service operations manager sponsorship activity, driven by its international trade, finance, and hospitality sectors. Orlando follows closely, with a concentration of roles tied to its tourism and resort management industry. Tampa has grown significantly as a tech and financial services hub, while Jacksonville's logistics infrastructure supports operations management demand from distribution and supply chain employers.
How to find service operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for service operations manager roles in Florida without sorting through employers who won't sponsor. You can filter by state and role type to surface companies in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa that have a documented history of filing H-1B or other work visa petitions for operations management positions.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for service operations manager sponsorship candidates?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons under H-1B Labor Condition Application requirements since the Department of Labor benchmarks wages against local market rates, not cost-of-living adjustments. Florida's university system, including the University of Florida and University of Miami, produces a pipeline of operations and business graduates that means competition for sponsored roles can be competitive in major metros.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service operations manager jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
