Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain managers in Florida?
Florida-based companies with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for supply chain roles include Ryder System, World Fuel Services, Amazon, Chewy, and Carnival Corporation. Large multinationals with Florida operations, particularly in Miami's international trade sector and Jacksonville's logistics hubs, are the most consistent sponsors. Smaller regional distributors sponsor less frequently and typically have less established immigration infrastructure.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain manager roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for supply chain managers in Florida, provided the role requires a specialized degree, typically in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations management, or business. Candidates from Canada or Mexico may qualify for TN status under the USMCA if their role aligns with a qualifying professional category. L-1A visas apply for managers transferring from a foreign affiliate of a U.S. employer.
Which cities in Florida have the most supply chain manager sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for supply chain sponsorship activity, driven by its role as a gateway for Latin American and Caribbean trade, with significant freight, logistics, and import-export operations concentrated there. Jacksonville is the state's largest port city and a major logistics employment hub. Tampa and Orlando also generate supply chain hiring, particularly in retail distribution, food and beverage, and healthcare supply chain functions.
How to find supply chain manager visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter supply chain manager roles by Florida location, visa type, and employer sponsorship history. Because sponsoring employers are not always clearly identified on general job boards, using a platform focused on sponsorship-confirmed roles saves significant research time. Migrate Mate aggregates openings from Florida employers across Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando.
Are there state-specific considerations for supply chain managers seeking sponsorship in Florida?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure total compensation packages relative to prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program. The state's heavy concentration in international trade, aerospace, and consumer goods means supply chain roles often require multilingual capability or regional expertise, which can strengthen a sponsorship case. University programs at the University of Florida and Florida International University also feed talent into local supply chain hiring pipelines.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain manager jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
