Job Title
Senior Director of Product Management – Developer Experience
What does a Senior Director of Product Management – Developer Experience do?
We’re looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to lead and elevate our Developer Experience (DX) into a world‑class, AI‑powered platform that is a true differentiator for our brand.
This leader will build on our existing Developer Studio and Test Studio and evolve them into a modern, intuitive, and engaging experience that serves developers and many other personas—from partners and solution engineers to product managers, marketers, and curious learners evaluating our platform for the first time.
This is a highly visible, strategic role. You’ll define the vision, lead a team, influence across the organization, and work closely with executives to make DX a growth engine, adoption driver, and reputation builder.
What You Will Do
- Own the end‑to‑end product vision and roadmap for our developer experience platform, including Developer Studio and Test Studio.
- Transform functional tooling into a game‑changing, AI‑enabled experience that is helpful, intuitive, and delightful.
- Design experiences for multiple personas, not just developers—external users, internal teams, and partners alike.
- Establish cross‑organizational rigor to source authoritative content and translate it into clear, persona‑specific journeys.
- Lead and grow a team of product managers, setting a high bar for product craft, execution, and outcomes.
- Partner closely across the company—engineering, product, design, operations, support, sales, and marketing—to drive alignment and delivery.
- Extend the DX platform to support a growing partner ecosystem, improving partner testing, documentation, and integration experiences.
- Define and own success metrics (e.g., time‑to‑value, integration success, adoption, support deflection) and use data to guide decisions.
- Evangelize the DX vision internally and externally; confidently present strategy and progress to senior leadership.
What You Will Need To Have
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years leading teams.
- Proven experience owning and scaling developer‑facing products such as developer portals, documentation, APIs, sandbox/test environments, or integration tooling.
- A strong track record delivering modern, high‑quality product experiences that drive adoption and satisfaction.
- Experience working cross‑functionally at scale and influencing without direct authority.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills; comfortable with executive‑level discussions.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity, set direction, and make decisions with incomplete information.
- Data‑driven mindset with experience defining metrics and measuring product impact.
- Strong business acumen and a marketing lens for positioning and internal evangelism.
What Would Be Great To Have
- Experience building AI‑assisted developer experiences (e.g., guided onboarding, intelligent assistance, personalized learning).
- Background in payments, fintech, platforms, or API‑first businesses.
- Experience supporting or scaling a partner ecosystem.
- Exposure to award‑winning or industry‑recognized digital product experiences.
Salary Range
$123,500.00 - $216,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

Which companies sponsor visas for director of projects roles in Georgia?
Large employers with established Georgia operations are the most consistent sponsors for director of projects positions. NCR Voyix, Cox Enterprises, Delta Air Lines, Emory Healthcare, and major consulting firms such as Accenture and Deloitte have all filed H-1B petitions for project leadership roles in the state. Global technology companies with significant Atlanta offices, including Google and Microsoft, also sponsor at this level.
Which visa types are most common for director of projects roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for director of projects roles in Georgia, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specialized field such as business, engineering, or information technology. L-1A visas are another pathway for candidates transferring into a Georgia-based director role from a position with the same multinational employer abroad. O-1 visas are less common but applicable for candidates with documented extraordinary achievement in project management or a related discipline.
Which cities in Georgia have the most director of projects sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of director of projects sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, technology employers, and large healthcare systems. Alpharetta, a major technology and financial services hub north of Atlanta, is a secondary market with meaningful sponsorship volume. Savannah has a smaller but growing presence, particularly in logistics and supply chain project leadership tied to its port operations.
How to find director of projects visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles that include visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to search for director of projects openings in Georgia without sorting through positions that won't consider international candidates. The platform focuses on employers actively willing to sponsor, which is particularly useful at the director level where sponsorship willingness varies significantly by company size, industry, and existing immigration infrastructure in Georgia.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for director of projects sponsorship candidates?
Georgia does not impose state-level immigration requirements beyond federal standards, but candidates should be aware that prevailing wage compliance is determined by the specific metropolitan statistical area. Atlanta-area prevailing wages for director of projects roles reflect a high-cost metropolitan market and are calculated differently than wages for roles in smaller Georgia cities. Georgia Tech and Emory University produce graduate talent pipelines that some employers factor into their hiring and sponsorship planning at the director level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of projects jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
