- Actively contribute to building the next generation of planning leaders within the practice
Who you are:
After nearly 100 years, we know this business is fundamentally about making connections—between facts, figures, insights, strategies, tools, technologies, and above all, people. That’s why we look for collaborative, insightful, and inquisitive problem-solvers who don’t accept the first thing in front of them and who are always unapologetically themselves.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- An MBA (preferred) and 10+ years of professional experience
- Relevant management consulting experience with strong market traction at the Principal level
- Experience working with clients in Healthcare, with experience across the provider landscape
- Expertise in Health System Operations and clinical workflows

- A passion for leading teams and mentoring colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple major workstreams within business design engagements
- Exceptional consulting skills (presentation, communication, analytics, problem solving, leadership, presence)
- A willingness to travel as required
What we can offer you:
Every day, our people work to be the difference for our clients, our communities, and our colleagues. Helping them make an impact, they are sustained by a competitive remuneration package plus comprehensive benefits and perks, including but not limited to:
- Generous retirement/pension savings contributions
- Comprehensive medical insurance for employees and immediate family

- Non-partner equity-based awards (for consulting managers and above)
- Structured and on-the-job learning and development opportunities
- Personalized opportunities including talent mobility, flexible work programs, and externships to help you chart a unique career journey to pursue your own personal and professional goals
Principal base salary – $245,000-$270,000. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus. Our full suite of benefits includes paid time off, 401(k) match and profit sharing, medical, dental and vision coverage, healthcare concierge, backup child/adult care, annual employer HSA contribution, home office stipend, subsidized Gympass and annual wellness program, and leaves of absence when needed to support employees’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Which companies in Georgia most commonly sponsor visas for principal roles?
Large technology and enterprise employers in Georgia sponsor the most principal-level roles. Companies like NCR Atleos, Cox Enterprises, Global Payments, and Fiserv have active sponsorship programs and regularly file H-1B visa petitions for senior technical and leadership positions. Healthcare systems such as Emory Healthcare and WellStar Health System also sponsor principals in clinical informatics, data engineering, and operations leadership.
Which visa types are most commonly used for principal roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for principal roles in Georgia, as these positions typically require a specialized bachelor's degree or higher, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with extraordinary ability may qualify for the O-1A. Principals employed by multinationals transferring from an overseas office may also explore the L-1A intracompany transferee category depending on their situation.
How to find principal visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse principal roles in Georgia without sorting through positions that do not sponsor. You can narrow results by location and job title to focus on Atlanta-area employers and sectors like fintech, healthcare IT, and enterprise software, where principal-level sponsorship is most active in the state.
Which cities in Georgia have the most principal-level visa sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of principal sponsorship jobs in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major technology employers. The Midtown and Buckhead corridors host many enterprise tech offices, while the Atlanta suburbs of Alpharetta and Dunwoody have emerged as secondary hubs for fintech and cybersecurity firms that hire at the principal level.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for principal roles and visa sponsorship?
Georgia does not have state-level visa requirements, so federal rules govern all sponsorship. However, principals should be aware that prevailing wage determinations for senior roles in Atlanta are set at the metropolitan statistical area level and can differ from national averages. Georgia Tech and Georgia State University also feed strong pipelines into local tech employers, which means competition for principal-level roles with sponsorship can be meaningful even without a lottery gamble for non-cap-subject petitions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored principal jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
