Overview:
Are you ready for what’s next, now?
We’re looking for a Director, Product Marketing for our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is full-time. You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative marketing team with a mandate to enable sales and shape how we go to market across a global portfolio of industry-specific solutions.
About the Role
Our Global Marketing team is looking for a Director, Product Marketing to lead and elevate our product marketing function. This is a critical role — the product marketing team sits closest to Sales, and the person in this seat plays a direct role in driving revenue.
You will be the connective tissue between product, sales, and the market. With a portfolio spanning multiple verticals, geographies, and go-to-market motions, you will need to cut through complexity and translate it into messaging that is clear, compelling, and impossible to misunderstand. If you can explain what we do to a seventh-grade history teacher and have them get it — you’re our kind of marketer.
You will also:
- Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy across Aptean’s portfolio of industry-specific solutions
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market dynamics, and customer needs across our key verticals
- Enable Sales proactively — get ahead of their needs, equip them with tools and insights, and build a relationship of trust and forward momentum
- Drive thought leadership by representing Aptean at events, conferences, and in written content as an industry voice
- Partner closely with Product Management to ensure roadmap and positioning are aligned with real market demand
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of product marketers across regions
About You
You are a natural leader who genuinely cares about the people around you. You know that great work comes from teams that feel supported, trusted, and motivated — and you lead with that in mind. You are ambitious, curious, and driven to solve problems in new ways, not just replicate what’s been done before.
You are organized and clear-headed in the face of complexity. You thrive when there are multiple products, messages, and motions to manage simultaneously and you bring structure without bureaucracy. You push forward, not backward — your default response to a challenge is to solve it, not explain why it can’t be done.
You must also be:
- An experienced B2B marketing professional with a background in product marketing, strategic marketing, or a closely adjacent field — ideally in SaaS or enterprise software
- A strong communicator and storyteller who can distill complex, multi-product portfolios into sharp, simple messages that resonate with buyers
- Skilled in competitive research, market analysis, and translating insights into differentiated positioning
- Comfortable and confident speaking publicly — on stage at industry events, in customer conversations, and as a contributor to thought leadership content
- A relationship-builder and trusted partner to Sales, Strategy, Product teams that works alongside them with a consultative approach
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders without losing focus
To be ahead of the pack, you might have:
- Experience in technology marketing across adjacent industries such as supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, or enterprise software
- A track record of building teams where former direct reports would follow you to the next opportunity
- Experience representing a brand on stage or in media as a credible industry voice
- Familiarity with GTM tools, marketing analytics, and funnel-based performance measurement

Which companies sponsor visas for product marketers in Georgia?
Atlanta-headquartered technology and enterprise companies are the most active sponsors for product marketing roles in Georgia. NCR Voyix, Global Payments, and Cox Enterprises have filed H-1B visa petitions for marketing positions. Salesforce and Microsoft maintain Atlanta offices with product marketing teams. Large employers with established HR and legal infrastructure are generally more willing to sponsor than early-stage startups.
Which visa types are most common for product marketing roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product marketing roles in Georgia, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3 visa instead. Those with extraordinary achievement in their field sometimes qualify for the O-1A. Each category has distinct employer filing requirements and timelines.
Which cities in Georgia have the most product marketing sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of product marketing visa sponsorship activity in Georgia. Midtown and Buckhead host significant technology company offices, while the Perimeter Center corridor attracts enterprise software firms. Savannah and Augusta have smaller but growing technology presences, though sponsoring employers in those markets are far less common. Candidates targeting Georgia should focus their search primarily on the Atlanta metro area.
How to find product marketing visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify product marketing roles in Georgia where employers are open to sponsoring international candidates. Because sponsorship willingness is rarely stated clearly in standard job postings, using Migrate Mate saves significant time. Filtering by Atlanta metro and product marketing or product management adjacent titles tends to return the most relevant results.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for product marketers seeking visa sponsorship?
Georgia Tech and Emory University produce a steady pipeline of international graduates who compete for product marketing roles in Atlanta, so employers in the market are generally familiar with OPT and H-1B processes. Georgia does not impose state-level restrictions on visa sponsorship. Product marketers with SaaS, fintech, or supply chain experience align well with the industries concentrated in Atlanta, where enterprise technology hiring is most active.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product marketing jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
