Which companies sponsor visas for program analysts in Georgia?
Federal contractors are the most active sponsors for program analysts in Georgia. Companies like Booz Allen Hamilton, Leidos, SAIC, and Deloitte have established H-1B visa sponsorship histories and maintain significant workforces in the Atlanta metro area. Large technology employers such as NCR Voyix and Cox Enterprises also sponsor program analyst roles. Government-adjacent organizations tied to the CDC and state agencies generate consistent demand through contractor pipelines.
Which visa types are most common for program analyst roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for program analysts in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or business administration. Candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT are frequently hired by Georgia employers as a bridge to H-1B sponsorship. The TN visa is also an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying analyst roles.
How to find program analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find program analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia, since the platform filters specifically for roles where employers have confirmed sponsorship willingness. Because the Atlanta metro concentrates most hiring, filtering by Georgia and program analyst on Migrate Mate surfaces relevant openings across federal contractors, healthcare organizations, and technology firms without sorting through roles that won't support visa candidates.
Which cities in Georgia have the most program analyst sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of program analyst sponsorship activity in Georgia. Employers in Midtown, Buckhead, and the Perimeter Center corridor are especially active, given the concentration of consulting firms and federal agency offices. Augusta has a secondary cluster tied to the Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Eisenhower, which drives contractor hiring. Savannah sees occasional openings linked to logistics and port operations technology projects.
Are there state-specific factors that affect program analyst visa sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia's status as a major hub for federal health agencies, particularly the CDC and FEMA's regional offices, creates program analyst demand that tracks closely with government contracting cycles. Employers hiring for roles supporting federal contracts must comply with prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program, and some positions may require security clearances that can complicate or lengthen the sponsorship process for international candidates. Georgia Tech also produces a consistent pipeline of program analyst talent that shapes how competitive these roles are.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program analyst jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
