INTRODUCTION

The College of Professions at Andrews University seeks an analyst to provide advisory services focused on program effectiveness, system design, governance, and strategy. This role will analyze existing structures and design frameworks, systems, and recommendations to improve academic partnerships, innovation initiatives (including the Adventist Innovation Network), and institutional processes. The role is strictly consultative and does not include operational implementation or administrative duties.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Analysis and Information Systems

• Conduct assessments of programs, partnerships, and innovation initiatives to evaluate alignment with institutional mission and effectiveness.
• Analyze systems related to academic networks (e.g., AIN), data management, and program processes.
• Develop structured recommendations, benchmarking insights, and strategic roadmaps for institutional improvement.
• Define key indicators, data structures, and dashboards to support data-informed leadership decisions.
• Develop a phased roadmap for strengthening the Adventist Innovation Network’s digital and information infrastructure.
• Ensure documentation, metrics, and reporting practices are consistent with accreditation and institutional evaluation standards.

Process Frameworks for Agreements and Academic Documentation

• Develop standardized process frameworks for:
• Affiliation agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOUs)
• Agreement lifecycle management (creation, approval, renewal, archiving)
• Academic documentation workflows and correspondence handling
• Recommend templates, approval paths, and documentation controls to improve compliance, transparency, and efficiency.
• Identify gaps and risks in current documentation practices and propose mitigation strategies.

Design a comprehensive system architecture (conceptual) for tracking:
- Extension programs and affiliated offerings
- Active MOUs and partnership status
- Renewal deadlines and compliance milestones
- Institutional contacts and communication logs
- Required reports and documentation

Develop recommended structures for:
- Spreadsheet schemas and data fields
- Dashboards and reporting tools
- Data governance policies

Enrollment and Engagement Process Frameworks

• Develop process frameworks (non-operational) for:
• Structured communication with prospective, accepted, and enrolled students
• Enrollment progression from application to onboarding

Design coordination models between:
- Enrollment Management
- Student Visits
- Academic departments

Propose systems for:
- Communication tracking and follow-up
- Event coordination (visits, tours, previews)

• Provide recommendations to improve enrollment conversion and student engagement (implementation remains internal).
• Provide outreach to potential students and freshman advising.
• Coordinates with Information Systems Support Manager to ensure appropriate employees (student & faculty) have access to CoP social media accounts and website updates.
• Coordinates with Graduate & Marketing Director to update marketing materials and maintain social media accounts and postings.
• Coordinates with Marketing & Enrollment and the Graduate & Marketing Director for recruiting, campus visits, and college previews.

Education

A Ph.D. in organizational leadership or sustainable development is required.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with academic quality, coordinating compliance with quality standards and implementing corrective actions.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in coordinating institutional research, including data collection and analysis for academic program evaluation and compliance reports at an institution of higher education.
• Prior experience in data processing and reporting for institutional research at a university is also required.
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated leadership in academic administration through the management of academic operations, including adherence to institutional goals and standards.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in supervising faculty and implementing performance evaluation systems.
• Demonstrated experience in evidence-based planning in academic administration.
• Demonstrated experience in project management in academic administration.
• University-level teaching experience for at least 20 years, including experience in developing online learning content and training faculty in virtual education methodologies.
• Strong record of multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, including in the areas of stress assessment and educational methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience working within academic networks or inter-institutional collaborations.
• Prior experience with faith-based organizations is required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear, actionable deliverables.
• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms commonly used in community and network management.
