Program Analyst Visa Sponsorship Jobs in Delaware
Delaware's program analyst roles are concentrated in Wilmington's financial services corridor and state government agencies, with major employers like JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Incyte Corporation regularly hiring in this space. The state's compact size means most sponsorship opportunities cluster in New Castle County, where federal contractors and healthcare organizations also maintain a steady presence.

Which companies sponsor visas for program analysts in Delaware?
Financial institutions headquartered or with major operations in Wilmington, including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Barclays, have historically sponsored program analysts on H-1B visas. Federal contractors serving government agencies in Dover, along with healthcare and pharmaceutical companies like Incyte and ChristianaCare, also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as program analyst sponsors in Delaware.
Which visa types are most common for program analyst roles in Delaware?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for program analysts in Delaware, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field like information systems, business administration, or computer science. Some employer-sponsored candidates also enter on L-1B visas when transferring from a related international office, particularly within large financial institutions with global footprints.
Which cities in Delaware have the most program analyst sponsorship jobs?
Wilmington accounts for the overwhelming majority of program analyst sponsorship activity in Delaware, driven by its concentration of financial services firms and corporate headquarters. Newark, home to the University of Delaware and several technology-adjacent employers, sees additional demand. Dover has a smaller but consistent presence through state government and federal contractor roles, particularly in defense and public sector IT programs.
How to find program analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate filters program analyst job listings specifically for roles where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship, saving you time that would otherwise go toward screening out positions that won't support your status. For Delaware, focus your search on Wilmington-based financial services firms and New Castle County employers. Migrate Mate lets you browse by role and state so you can target the right opportunities directly.
Are there state-specific factors that affect program analyst sponsorship in Delaware?
Delaware's incorporation-friendly environment means many large corporations are legally domiciled here, but their program analyst roles are not always physically located in the state. Verify the actual worksite address before applying, as the H-1B Labor Condition Application is tied to the work location. Delaware's relatively small talent market also means competition for sponsored roles can be concentrated among a limited number of large employers rather than spread across a broad hiring base.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program analyst jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
