Position Summary:
The Sr. Analyst supports the field organization with detailed analysis and consulting designed to create advanced pricing solutions that enhance profitability and drive revenue growth. This position will establish and maintain analytical support to help field leaders understand and improve deal to deal pricing performance. Additionally, this position will support an assigned solution, acting as the subject matter expert who reports to the Pricing Lead.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create financial tools and streamline process for quoting and contracting pricing
- Enhance financial reports to give greater business insights into performance
- Subject matter expert of assigned business area responsible for maintaining tools, improving process, and advising new pricing practices
- Provide financial support for sales opportunities while partnering with operations leaders and key corporate partners
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners in finance, marketing, sales and operations on profitability and pricing initiatives
- Responsible for preparing, consolidating, and analyzing various customer level financial reports
- Assist with training and onboarding
- All other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- MBA preferred
- 4-6 years of Finance experience
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Analytical and reasoning skills
- Ability to perform under time constraints
- Ability to prioritize and execute with proficiency
- Ability to diagnose and prioritize organizational needs, as well as successfully execute most effective course of action
- Advanced technical capabilities with MS Excel and relational databases
- Ability to understand, create, and modify complex financial models
- Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
