Which companies sponsor visas for program analysts in New Jersey?
Companies with a consistent track record of sponsoring program analysts in New Jersey include Johnson & Johnson, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Conduent, Deloitte, and Merck. Federal contractors operating near Trenton and Camden also file sponsorship petitions regularly for program analyst roles. Sponsorship patterns can shift by year, so reviewing recent Labor Condition Application filings is the most reliable way to verify current activity.
Which visa types are most common for program analyst roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for program analysts in New Jersey, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a related field such as information systems, computer science, or business administration. Some candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship pursue TN visa status under the USMCA. Employers with existing multinational operations may also use the L-1B for intracompany transfers where applicable.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most program analyst sponsorship jobs?
Newark leads in volume due to its proximity to New York City and concentration of financial services and consulting firms. Parsippany and Florham Park host major pharmaceutical and professional services employers. Princeton and the Route 1 corridor attract technology and research-oriented program analyst roles. Trenton and Camden see demand from government contractors and public sector adjacent organizations that sponsor visas for program analysts supporting state and federal programs.
How to find program analyst visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search program analyst roles in New Jersey without sorting through positions that don't sponsor. The platform surfaces employers actively filing sponsorship petitions for this role type. Because program analyst is a broad title used across government contracting, pharma, and tech in New Jersey, using a sponsorship-focused search tool like Migrate Mate reduces time spent on roles that won't move forward for international candidates.
Are there state-specific considerations for program analysts seeking sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey's concentration of pharmaceutical headquarters and federal contractor offices creates demand for program analysts with domain experience in regulated industries, which can strengthen a specialty occupation determination. The state's proximity to Philadelphia and New York City means some employers post roles designated for one metro but expect candidates to work across sites. Prevailing wage compliance is determined at the worksite level, so candidates should confirm the specific county listed on the Labor Condition Application when evaluating offers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program analyst jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
