Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for sales development managers?
Atlanta-based technology and enterprise software firms lead visa sponsorship for sales development managers in Georgia. Companies like NCR Voyix, Global Payments, Salesforce, Honeywell, and Cox Enterprises have documented H-1B sponsorship histories. Fintech and SaaS-focused employers in the Midtown and Buckhead corridors are particularly active, as the sales development manager role often qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Which visa types are most common for sales development manager roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for sales development managers in Georgia, provided the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or communications. Candidates already employed by multinational companies may also transfer on an L-1B specialized knowledge visa. Australians may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has the same specialty occupation requirements as the H-1B but a separate annual cap and no lottery.
Which cities in Georgia have the most sales development manager sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of sales development manager sponsorship opportunities in Georgia, particularly in the Midtown, Buckhead, and Perimeter Center business districts. Alpharetta, often called the 'Technology City of the South,' also hosts a significant cluster of SaaS and cybersecurity companies that hire for SDM roles. Outside metro Atlanta, opportunities are limited, making geographic flexibility within the Atlanta metro area a practical consideration for international candidates.
How to find sales development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters sales development manager roles in Georgia by visa sponsorship eligibility, saving you from manually screening hundreds of listings. You can search by role and state to surface employers in Atlanta and Alpharetta that have a documented history of sponsoring work visas. This is more efficient than browsing general job boards, where sponsorship status is rarely disclosed upfront and must be confirmed during the application process.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for sales development manager visa sponsorship?
Georgia's strong university pipeline, including Georgia Tech and Emory University, creates competition for SDM roles, but it also means many Atlanta employers are experienced with OPT and H-1B transitions for recent graduates. The state has no additional visa or employment registration requirements beyond federal standards. Sales development manager roles must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the Atlanta metropolitan statistical area, which employers are required to pay H-1B workers regardless of their standard compensation bands.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales development manager jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
