Which companies sponsor visas for sales development managers in New Jersey?
Large employers with documented H-1B sponsorship in New Jersey include Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Cognizant, and Conduent, along with regional financial services firms headquartered in Jersey City. Mid-sized SaaS and B2B software companies concentrated in the Princeton and Parsippany corridors also sponsor regularly. Sponsorship patterns vary by company size and hiring cycle, so checking USCIS LCA disclosure data helps confirm which employers have filed for similar roles.
Which visa types are most common for sales development manager roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa category for sales development manager positions in New Jersey, provided the role requires a specialized degree such as business, marketing, or a related field. The L-1A is another pathway for managers transferring within a multinational company. Candidates from Australia may consider the E-3 visa, and those from Canada or Mexico may be eligible for TN visa status under USMCA, depending on how the role is classified.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most sales development manager sponsorship jobs?
Jersey City and Newark generate the highest volume of sponsorship-eligible sales development manager roles, driven by their proximity to New York City and concentration of financial services and technology employers. Princeton and the Route 1 corridor are strong for life sciences and enterprise software companies. Parsippany and Bridgewater also have active hiring in this role category, particularly among pharmaceutical and healthcare technology firms.
How to find sales development manager visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate lists sales development manager roles in New Jersey filtered specifically for visa sponsorship, so you can search without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. The platform focuses on international candidates, which means listings are matched to common visa pathways like H-1B and E-3. Filtering by New Jersey on Migrate Mate surfaces roles across the state's key hiring corridors, including Jersey City, Newark, Princeton, and Parsippany.
Are there any state-specific considerations for sales development manager sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey sits within the New York metropolitan area combined statistical area, which affects the prevailing wage benchmark that employers must meet when filing a Labor Condition Application for H-1B roles. Employers must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for the specific occupational classification and geographic area. Sales development manager roles may be classified under different SOC codes depending on seniority and whether the position is primarily managerial or sales-focused, which affects both LCA requirements and visa eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales development manager jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
