Search Strategy Manager Jobs in GeorgiaStrategy Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for strategy managers in Georgia?
Atlanta-headquartered employers are the most active sponsors for strategy manager roles in Georgia. Delta Air Lines, Home Depot, Cox Enterprises, NCR Voyix, and Intercontinental Exchange have all filed H-1B petitions for corporate strategy and planning positions. Management consulting firms with Atlanta offices, including McKinsey, BCG, and Deloitte, also sponsor international candidates for strategy roles on a regular basis.
Which visa types are most common for strategy manager roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for strategy managers in Georgia, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation requirement. Candidates with prior U.S. employer relationships may also see L-1A or L-1B transfers used for intracompany strategy positions, particularly within multinational firms with Atlanta offices.
Which cities in Georgia have the most strategy manager sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of strategy manager visa sponsorship activity in Georgia. The Midtown, Buckhead, and Downtown Atlanta submarkets host most corporate headquarters and major consulting offices. Alpharetta, a northern suburb, has a growing technology and financial services cluster that generates additional demand for strategy talent, though sponsorship volume there remains well below Atlanta proper.
How to find strategy manager visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify strategy manager openings in Georgia without sorting through employers unlikely to sponsor. You can narrow results by location and role type to focus on Atlanta-area corporate and consulting positions. Migrate Mate's data is updated regularly, so new strategy manager postings from Georgia employers appear as soon as they are listed.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for strategy manager visa sponsorship?
Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in Atlanta means many strategy manager openings are tied to internal corporate functions rather than client-facing consulting, which can affect how employers classify the role for H-1B specialty occupation purposes. Georgia Tech's business and analytics programs also create a strong local talent pipeline, so sponsored candidates often need to demonstrate specialized experience or an advanced degree to stand out in the applicant pool.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy manager jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
