Which companies in Hawaii sponsor visas for partnerships manager roles?
Employers with documented sponsorship histories for business development and partnerships roles in Hawaii include Oceanit, Hawaiian Telcom, Hawaii Pacific Health, and defense contractors such as Booz Allen Hamilton and Leidos, which maintain significant Oahu operations. Larger hospitality groups tied to Marriott and Hilton properties have also sponsored partnership-focused roles, though volume is lower than in mainland tech hubs.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships manager jobs in Hawaii?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for partnerships manager roles in Hawaii, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Australian nationals may pursue the E-3 visa, which follows a similar specialty occupation standard but bypasses the H-1B lottery. L-1A transfers are an option for candidates moving from a foreign affiliate of a Hawaii-based employer.
Which cities in Hawaii have the most partnerships manager sponsorship jobs?
Honolulu accounts for the vast majority of partnerships manager sponsorship opportunities in Hawaii. The city hosts the state's largest employers across defense, healthcare, technology, and hospitality, all of which maintain formal HR and legal infrastructure capable of supporting visa sponsorship. Smaller markets on Maui or the Big Island occasionally have openings, but consistent sponsorship activity is concentrated on Oahu.
How to find partnerships manager visa sponsorship jobs in Hawaii?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to browse partnerships manager openings in Hawaii without sifting through roles that don't support international candidates. Because Hawaii's sponsoring employer pool is smaller than mainland states, setting up alerts on Migrate Mate for this role and state combination helps you act quickly when relevant positions are posted.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for partnerships managers in Hawaii?
Hawaii's relatively small corporate sector means fewer employers file H-1B Labor Condition Applications for partnerships manager roles compared to states like California or New York. Employers here often require familiarity with Asia-Pacific markets, which can strengthen a candidate's profile given the state's geographic position. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage determination for this occupation in the Honolulu metropolitan area governs the minimum wage an H-1B sponsor must pay, independent of any figures a job posting may advertise.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships manager jobs in Hawaii?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
