Which companies sponsor visas for partnerships manager roles in New York?
Enterprise technology and media companies are the most active sponsors for partnerships manager positions in New York. IBM, Salesforce, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Publicis Groupe, and Bloomberg have a documented history of H-1B visa sponsorship for business development and partnerships roles. Fintech firms such as Stripe and Brex, which maintain significant New York operations, also sponsor regularly for partnership-focused positions.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships manager roles in New York?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnerships managers in New York, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, Canadians and Mexicans for TN visa status under USMCA, and those with multinational employer backgrounds may explore the L-1B for specialized knowledge transfers.
Which cities in New York have the most partnerships manager sponsorship jobs?
New York City, particularly Manhattan's Midtown and Hudson Yards districts, accounts for the overwhelming majority of partnerships manager sponsorship opportunities in the state. A smaller concentration exists in Brooklyn's tech corridor. Outside the city, Albany and Buffalo have limited sponsorship activity for this role, primarily tied to government-adjacent technology contractors and healthcare system vendors.
How to find partnerships manager visa sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate filters partnerships manager roles in New York specifically to employers with a history of visa sponsorship, which cuts through the volume of listings where sponsorship is unavailable. Because partnerships manager is a role that spans industries, using Migrate Mate's category filters helps narrow results to sectors like SaaS, media, and fintech where New York-based sponsorship is more common. Setting up alerts ensures new postings reach you quickly in a competitive market.
Are there state-specific considerations for partnerships manager visa sponsorship in New York?
New York City's prevailing wage requirements under Department of Labor rules are among the highest in the country for business development roles, which affects what employers must pay sponsored workers. The city's density of Fortune 500 headquarters and global media companies means partnerships manager roles often involve international partner networks, strengthening the business case employers make when filing H-1B petitions. Columbia, NYU, and Cornell Tech also feed local employer pipelines with international business graduates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships manager jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
