Which companies sponsor visas for partnerships managers in California?
Technology companies account for the largest share of partnerships manager sponsorship in California. Salesforce, Google, Meta, Adobe, and Snap have consistent sponsorship histories for this role in the Bay Area. In Los Angeles, entertainment technology and media companies including NBCUniversal and Warner Bros. Discovery also sponsor partnerships managers. Enterprise software and cloud infrastructure firms across Silicon Valley round out the most active sponsors.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships manager roles in California?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnerships managers in California, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates with multinational experience may also come through on L-1B intracompany transferee visas. Australians working in partnerships can explore the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is specific to Australian nationals.
Which cities in California have the most partnerships manager sponsorship jobs?
San Francisco and the broader Bay Area have the highest concentration of partnerships manager sponsorship jobs in California, driven by the density of SaaS, fintech, and enterprise technology companies headquartered there. Los Angeles is the second-largest market, particularly for roles at media, gaming, and consumer technology firms. San Diego has a smaller but active cluster tied to its life sciences and cybersecurity sectors.
How to find partnerships manager visa sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find partnerships manager roles in California without sorting through employers who do not sponsor. You can narrow results by location, filtering for Bay Area and Los Angeles postings separately. Because partnerships manager roles appear across multiple industries in California, browsing by industry category on Migrate Mate helps identify the highest-activity sectors.
Are there any California-specific considerations for partnerships manager visa sponsorship?
California employers filing H-1B petitions for partnerships managers must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for the specific metropolitan area, which vary between San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego. California's strong university pipeline, particularly from UC Berkeley, UCLA, and USC, means competition for sponsored roles is high. Candidates with direct experience in SaaS partner ecosystems or platform business models tend to be more competitive with California sponsors.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships manager jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
