System Analyst

The Role

The System Analyst is an engaged member of the Applications team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining various types of electronic files, completing service requests for existing electronic files, and attending meetings as needed to provide continued support to our internal and external customers.

What You’ll Do

• Developing and maintaining internal and external file interfaces, requirements, and associated systems/applications. Including HIPAA Standard 5010 layout (834 file), proprietary file layout, inload schema for accuracy and to be able to provide feedback.
• Collaborates and partners with internal and external customers including team members and other departments to deliver flawless first client implementations and renewals.
• Create, enhance, and develop SQL queries for data integration, and data cleansing.
• Develop and maintain electronic files using Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Cron, Jira, Solarwinds and C#.
• Responsible for managing, prioritizing, and completing open service requests for existing products and services in a timely manner to support our clients and vendors. Escalates when necessary.
• Competently documents or enhances processes/procedures to promote streamlined processes for the Software Analyst team to ensure team members can competently complete service requests.

What You Need

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio and C# knowledge.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred

• Knowledge of project management and documentation.
• Knowledge of third-party administrator industry processes and understanding of the healthcare industry
• Experience with software development methodology (such as Scrum/Agile) and writing effective documentation.

Location & Compensation

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $62,000 - $93,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
