ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under close supervision, the Finance Analyst 1 performs a variety of assignments requiring the knowledge and ability to select and apply standard financial techniques, procedures and criteria.
- Perform basic statistical, cost and financial analysis using various financial systems.
- Process financial reports for forecasting, trending and result analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of operational budgets, review and analyze departmental budget requests.
- Assist with monitoring of budget expenditures and prepare written reports and analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide information to resolve problems concerning variance from approved budgets.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree.
