Position Overview
Highly Skilled in QA, Oasis reviewer and Coding Clinical Manager. Quality organizational skills and strong understanding of home health & geriatric care. Experience in home health will be highly valued and very well compensated.
Responsibilities
- Audits and Review Oasis and Coding.
- Completes chart audit tool to document patient chart audit has been completed and any areas of concern have been addressed.
- Maintains, adheres to and supports agency policies, procedures and patient care manuals.
- Reviews coordination of patient evaluation between all disciplines involved in the client’s care to ensure quality driven cost efficient care plan.
- Assists management and administration with quality assurance and quality improvement efforts.
- Identifies clinical problem areas and informs Clinical Manager/Clinical Director of any deficiencies.
- Enforces Agency work policies consistently.
- Attends staff meetings as required including bi-annual all-staff in-services.
- Adheres to the practice of confidentiality regarding patients, staff and the organization.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualification
- Valid state issued Registered Nurse License and Certified in Oasis Review, Coding and ICD-10.
- A working knowledge of Medicare home health requirements.
- Strong clinical knowledge and background.
- Must have positive and professional skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate computer knowledge and skills.
- Must be highly and consistently organized.
