Which companies sponsor visas for finance managers in Indiana?
Indianapolis-based employers with consistent H-1B sponsorship histories for finance roles include Eli Lilly, Salesforce, Anthem (Elevance Health), and Cummins. Large healthcare systems like Indiana University Health and Franciscan Health also sponsor finance managers periodically. Manufacturing firms concentrated in Fort Wayne and Columbus, such as Do it Best and Cummins' regional facilities, represent additional sponsorship sources worth researching through DOL LCA disclosure data.
Which visa types are most common for finance manager roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for finance managers in Indiana, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Australian citizens may pursue the E-3 visa through Indiana employers as an alternative. Finance managers with multinational employer relationships may also be eligible for L-1A intracompany transferee visas.
Which cities in Indiana have the most finance manager sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the majority of finance manager sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, healthcare systems, and financial services firms. Fort Wayne is a secondary market with sponsorship opportunities tied to manufacturing and regional banking. Bloomington and West Lafayette see occasional sponsorship through university-affiliated employers and life sciences companies connected to Indiana University and Purdue University research ecosystems.
How to find finance manager visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is the most targeted way to find finance manager visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana, since the platform filters specifically for employers with active sponsorship histories rather than general job listings. You can browse roles filtered to Indiana and finance manager titles directly. Checking DOL LCA disclosure data alongside Migrate Mate listings helps confirm which Indianapolis and Fort Wayne employers have recently filed sponsorship paperwork for finance roles.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for finance managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Indiana's manufacturing and life sciences sectors drive strong demand for finance managers with industry-specific experience, particularly in cost accounting, supply chain finance, and regulatory compliance. The DOL sets prevailing wage levels for finance manager roles that Indiana employers must meet when filing LCA petitions, and these wages vary by metro area. CPA licensure and experience with GAAP reporting are frequently cited requirements that strengthen sponsorship cases with Indiana employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored finance manager jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
