Which companies in Indiana sponsor visas for product management leads?
Several large Indiana employers have a track record of sponsoring work visas for senior product roles. Salesforce, Eli Lilly, Cummins, Anthem (now Elevance Health), and Salesforce-adjacent tech firms in Indianapolis are among the more active sponsors. Major healthcare systems like IU Health and Ascension also hire product leads and have supported H-1B visa sponsorship for experienced candidates in technology-facing roles.
What visa types are most commonly used for product management lead roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product management leads in Indiana, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or engineering. Candidates already holding L-1A or E-3 visa status may also be sponsored by Indiana employers, particularly at multinationals like Cummins or Eli Lilly with established global mobility programs.
How to find product management lead visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find product management lead roles in Indiana where employers are actively open to visa sponsorship. Filtering by state and role on Migrate Mate surfaces positions from Indiana-based companies that have sponsored work visas before, saving significant time compared to manually vetting employer history. It is particularly useful if you are on OPT or an expiring visa and need to move quickly.
Which Indiana cities have the most product management lead sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis is by far the dominant market, home to the state's largest tech employers, healthcare companies, and financial services firms. Carmel and Fishers, both fast-growing Indianapolis suburbs, host a number of mid-size tech companies that hire senior product talent. Fort Wayne and Bloomington are smaller but worth monitoring, particularly for product roles tied to manufacturing technology or university-affiliated health systems.
Are there any Indiana-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for product management leads?
Indiana's cost of living relative to coastal tech hubs means prevailing wage requirements for H-1B product management lead roles are generally lower in absolute terms, which can make sponsorship more accessible for Indiana employers operating on tighter budgets. Purdue University's engineering and computer science programs also generate a steady pipeline of OPT candidates already based in Indiana, which means some employers have existing sponsorship infrastructure in place for product-adjacent technical roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product management lead jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
