Which companies in Kansas sponsor visas for partnerships lead roles?
Technology and enterprise software companies in the Kansas City metro are the most active sponsors for partnerships lead positions. Cerner (now Oracle Health), Garmin, and C2FO have sponsored business development and partnership roles in Kansas. Larger logistics and healthcare organizations headquartered in the state also file H-1B visa petitions for senior partnership functions, though sponsorship availability depends heavily on the specific employer and hiring cycle.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships lead roles in Kansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnerships lead roles in Kansas, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Candidates with multinational employer backgrounds may also explore the L-1A intracompany transferee category. Australian citizens can consider the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under TN visa status for certain business-class roles.
Which cities in Kansas have the most partnerships lead visa sponsorship jobs?
The Kansas City metro area, including Overland Park and Lenexa on the Kansas side, concentrates the majority of partnerships lead sponsorship opportunities in the state. Wichita offers a smaller but active market driven by aviation, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. Lawrence and Manhattan see limited postings, though proximity to the University of Kansas and Kansas State University occasionally generates employer pipelines for business development roles.
How to find partnerships lead visa sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search partnerships lead roles in Kansas without sorting through positions that don't sponsor. Use Migrate Mate to filter by state and role type, and review employer sponsorship history before applying. Focusing on Kansas City metro employers in tech, healthcare, and logistics tends to yield the most relevant results for this role category.
Are there any state-specific considerations for partnerships lead sponsorship candidates in Kansas?
Kansas does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements, so federal H-1B prevailing wage rules set by the Department of Labor apply. Partnerships lead roles are typically classified under business operations or sales management occupational categories, which affects the wage level determination. Candidates should confirm the sponsoring employer has experience filing for business development or partnership-focused positions, as specialty occupation classification for this role type can vary by employer and petition specifics.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships lead jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
