Which companies sponsor visas for product marketers in Kansas?
The strongest sponsorship activity in Kansas comes from large technology and financial services employers. Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) in Kansas City has a track record of H-1B sponsorship across product and marketing functions. Garmin, headquartered in Olathe, and H&R Block in Kansas City also sponsor skilled foreign workers. Larger multinationals with Kansas offices are generally more willing to sponsor than smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for product marketing roles in Kansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product marketing positions in Kansas, provided the role requires a relevant bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates with exceptional achievement in marketing may pursue the O-1A. Australians may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and allows year-round applications.
Which cities in Kansas have the most product marketing sponsorship jobs?
The Kansas City metro area, particularly Overland Park and Olathe on the Kansas side, accounts for the majority of product marketing sponsorship opportunities in the state. These suburbs host Garmin's global headquarters and a concentration of technology and financial services firms. Wichita is a secondary market, with sponsorship activity tied more to manufacturing and aerospace than to product marketing specifically.
How to find product marketing visa sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can search product marketing roles in Kansas without sifting through positions that don't sponsor. The platform surfaces roles from employers with active sponsorship histories in the state. Focusing your search on the Kansas City metro, particularly Overland Park and Olathe, will return the highest concentration of relevant openings.
Are there any state-specific considerations for product marketing sponsorship in Kansas?
Kansas does not have state-level visa programs, so federal sponsorship rules apply. For H-1B purposes, the employer must file a Labor Condition Application certifying the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for product marketing in the relevant metro area, which is determined by the Department of Labor using Kansas City or Wichita wage data depending on work location. University of Kansas and Kansas State alumni networks can be a useful route into local employers with sponsorship capacity.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product marketing jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
