Which healthcare companies sponsor TN visas in Kansas?
The University of Kansas Health System, Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, Via Christi Health (part of Ascension), and Wichita-based Ascension Via Christi hospitals are among the larger Kansas employers with established international hiring pipelines. Independent physician groups and federally qualified health centers across the state also sponsor TN visa professionals, particularly for therapy, pharmacy, and diagnostic imaging roles.
Which cities in Kansas have the most healthcare TN sponsorship jobs?
Wichita and Kansas City (KS) account for the majority of healthcare TN sponsorship activity in the state, driven by their large hospital systems and medical campuses. Topeka, as the state capital, offers additional opportunities through Stormont Vail and state-affiliated health agencies. Smaller markets like Lawrence and Manhattan see periodic openings, particularly tied to university health services.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Kansas?
TN-eligible healthcare occupations include physical therapist, occupational therapist, pharmacist, medical laboratory technologist, radiological technologist, registered nurse (Canadian citizens only), dietitian, and physician. Each role must align with the USMCA TN occupation list and typically requires a relevant degree or professional license. Kansas employers most frequently sponsor pharmacists, physical therapists, and medical lab professionals.
How do I find healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for TN-eligible candidates and filters Kansas healthcare roles by visa type, making it straightforward to identify employers actively open to Canadian and Mexican professionals. Rather than sifting through general job postings, you can browse Kansas healthcare listings on Migrate Mate where sponsorship context is already built into the search. Targeting larger health systems in Wichita and Kansas City first tends to yield the most results.
Are there any Kansas-specific considerations for healthcare TN sponsorship?
Kansas requires state professional licensure for most regulated healthcare roles, including pharmacists, physical therapists, and medical lab technologists, through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and respective licensing boards. Canadian and Mexican candidates should initiate Kansas licensure applications early, as processing timelines can affect start dates. For registered nurses, only Canadian citizens qualify under the TN category, not Mexican nationals.
