RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes analytical testing with strict SOP adherence, ensuring accurate results and efficient workflow optimization.
- Prioritizes testing based on LIMS backlog and analytical requests; manages sample distribution and precise data entry.
- Evaluates data for trends and anomalies; communicates atypical results, instrument issues, and off-spec findings.
- Reviews and resolves SQC chart alarms; prevents excursions by monitoring instrument behavior across shifts.
- Completes corrective actions for out-of-control points and supports process improvements.
- Performs equipment maintenance, calibrations, and inventory management; supports daily lab operations.
- Upholds safety protocols and documentation standards; contributes to safety initiatives.
- Collaborates with technicians and chemists to meet lab and reporting needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 16 hours of college-level chemistry required. Chemistry Degree preferred.
- Two (2) years or more of related work experience required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.
