Which companies sponsor visas for technical product managers in Kentucky?
Louisville-based Humana is one of the most active sponsors in the state, regularly hiring technical product managers for its digital health platforms. Lexmark International in Lexington sponsors TPM roles tied to its enterprise software and imaging technology divisions. Tempur Sealy and Kindred Healthcare have also filed sponsorships for technology management positions. Smaller SaaS companies and healthtech startups in the Louisville metro round out the sponsoring employer pool.
Which visa types are most common for technical product manager roles in Kentucky?
The H-1B is by far the most common visa category for technical product manager roles in Kentucky, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field. Candidates with an approved I-140 may also enter on EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visa pathways. L-1B visas apply when a multinational employer transfers a TPM with specialized knowledge from an overseas office.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most technical product manager sponsorship jobs?
Louisville accounts for the majority of technical product manager sponsorship activity in Kentucky, driven by its concentration of healthcare technology, logistics, and financial services employers. Lexington is the second most active market, anchored by Lexmark and a cluster of university-adjacent tech companies near the University of Kentucky. Other cities like Bowling Green and Covington see occasional openings but represent a much smaller share of sponsorship volume.
How to find technical product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to surface technical product manager openings in Kentucky without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role type to see active listings from Kentucky employers like Humana and Lexmark. Setting up alerts on Migrate Mate for Kentucky TPM roles helps you respond quickly when new sponsorship positions are posted.
Are there any state-specific considerations for technical product managers seeking sponsorship in Kentucky?
Kentucky's TPM hiring is heavily influenced by the healthcare and logistics industries, so candidates with domain experience in those sectors are more competitive with state employers. The University of Kentucky and University of Louisville both produce engineering and computer science graduates who enter the local talent pool, which shapes the prevailing wage benchmarks employers must meet for H-1B filings. TPMs with backgrounds in healthcare IT standards or supply chain technology tend to find stronger employer interest in this market.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical product manager jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
