Job Description
Chewy is seeking a Sr. PM, EHS & Security – Systems and Data to serve as the technical systems and data leader for EHS and Security functions across the Chewy Fulfillment Network. This individual contributor role owns the vision, architecture, and execution of a centralized data ecosystem spanning EHS, Security/Asset Protection, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), and Food Safety — consolidating data across functions into a single governed platform and translating complex operational and compliance requirements into scalable, AI-enabled systems that drive measurable efficiencies for field teams and leadership. This role is part technologist, part data architect, and part program manager — someone who can write SQL queries, build Tableau dashboards, configure Intelex workflows, and partner with tech teams to develop AI agents, bots, and intelligent reporting tools that reduce administrative burden and surface risk proactively. The Sr. PM owns the systems and data roadmap, drives lean automation, and delivers intelligence tools that enable field EHS and Security teams to spend less time on manual work and more time protecting Chewy’s team members and assets. Reporting to the Associate Director, EHS – Compliance and Central Programs, this role operates at the intersection of technology, data, and operational safety.
What You’ll Do
- Own the vision, architecture, and strategic roadmap for EHS & Security centralized data systems — serving as the single-threaded technical owner responsible for platform strategy, integration design, and the long-term evolution of data infrastructure across EHS, Security/Asset Protection, GSOC, and Food Safety
- Lead the design and build of a centralized data ecosystem that consolidates EHS, Security/Asset Protection, GSOC, and Food Safety data into a unified, governed platform — eliminating siloed reporting, enabling cross-functional analytics, and delivering a single source of truth for performance and compliance visibility across the Fulfillment Network
- Partner with tech teams to build and deploy AI-powered tools — including AI agents, automated bots, and intelligent reporting solutions — that drive efficiency in field EHS and Security operations; reduce manual administrative burden, accelerate compliance workflows, surface risk signals proactively, and put actionable intelligence directly in the hands of field teams
- Serve as the technical owner and system administrator for the Intelex EHS management platform, including Incident Management, Inspections, Audits, Permit Management, and Claims modules; lead full lifecycle delivery of new modules and enhancements from requirements through configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization
- Write and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis across EHS, Security, GSOC, and Food Safety datasets; own metric logic, calculation standards, and data governance that ensure traceability from data capture through executive reporting
- Architect and maintain Tableau dashboards and Intelex reports for site leadership, EHS and Security leadership, and senior executives — translating complex, multi-domain datasets into clear, decision-ready visualizations; define reporting calendars and metric standards for key safety and security indicators (RIR, DART, MSD, Workers’ Compensation, asset loss)
- Design and build data integrations between Intelex and enterprise systems (Sedgwick, ServiceNow, SailPoint, Snowflake, Tableau, and others) using SFTP, API, and OData workflows; own data quality, cross-platform reconciliation, pipeline reliability, and ingestion validation across all integrated data sources
- Identify and lead lean automation opportunities across EHS and Security workflows — designing systems that eliminate manual effort, reduce error, and scale consistently across the network; drive continuous improvement through platform enhancements and workflow optimization informed by user feedback and data trends
- Own system governance, configuration standards, and user access models for EHS and Security platforms; enforce data governance standards including entry requirements, validation rules, and reconciliation checkpoints that maintain integrity from capture to reporting
- Manage technical vendor relationships (Intelex, Tableau/Salesforce, and comparable) including support escalation, product roadmap alignment, release management, and contract deliverables; maintain scalable system documentation, user guides, and adoption materials that enable self-service and reduce support dependency
- Surface system and data risks that may impact compliance, reporting accuracy, or decision quality; provide validated data inputs to support executive forums, governance reviews, and regulatory reporting
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in EHS systems administration, data analytics, technology program management, or a related technical role, preferably in large-scale fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, or retail operations
- Hands-on experience administering and configuring Intelex EHS management platform, including module configuration, workflow design, user access governance, and vendor coordination; experience with comparable platforms (Gensuite/Benchmark, VelocityEHS, Enablon) also valued
- Strong SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis; experience with data warehouse platforms (Snowflake preferred) and designing automated data workflows between enterprise systems
- Strong Tableau proficiency — dashboard architecture, data connections, calculated fields, performance optimization — with demonstrated experience building executive-facing and operational dashboards across multi-domain datasets
- Experience designing and building data integrations using SFTP, API, and OData connections; ability to troubleshoot pipeline issues and maintain integration reliability across EHS, Security, and enterprise platforms
- Experience with or demonstrable interest in AI/ML tools, AI agent frameworks, or workflow automation; ability to partner with tech teams to translate operational needs into AI-powered solutions including agents, bots, and intelligent reports
- Working knowledge of EHS regulatory frameworks and key safety metrics — OSHA recordkeeping (29 CFR 1904), RIR, DART, MSD rates, Workers’ Compensation indicators — sufficient to define metric logic and validate reporting accuracy
- Exceptional data storytelling skills — ability to translate complex, multi-domain datasets into clear, visual, actionable insights for both executive and field audiences
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical system and data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment across EHS, Security, IT, Data Engineering, and Operations
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to move fluidly between deep technical work (SQL, system configuration, pipeline troubleshooting) and stakeholder-facing deliverables (dashboards, governance reporting, cross-functional meetings)
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%
Bonus
- Experience integrating Security, Asset Protection, GSOC, or Food Safety data into centralized EHS or security management platforms
- Hands-on experience building AI agents, LLM-powered tools, or automation using no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or similar)
- PMP (Project Management Professional), Tableau Desktop Specialist/Certified Data Analyst, Intelex certification, or equivalent technical certifications
- Experience with ServiceNow, SailPoint, or comparable ITSM and identity management platforms
- Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, distribution center, or logistics network environments
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 management systems and how EHS data governance supports audit and compliance programs
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy

Which companies in Missouri sponsor visas for technical product managers?
Kansas City-based Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) is one of Missouri's most active H-1B sponsors for technical product roles, given its scale in healthcare IT. World Wide Technology in St. Louis regularly sponsors TPMs for enterprise technology projects. Financial firms like Edward Jones and Centene also file H-1B petitions for product management roles that require engineering depth. Sponsorship activity is concentrated in companies with dedicated engineering organizations.
Which visa types are most common for technical product manager roles in Missouri?
The H-1B is by far the most common visa for technical product managers in Missouri. USCIS classifies TPM roles as specialty occupations when the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates with relevant advanced degrees may also explore the EB-2 NIW pathway for permanent residence, though employer sponsorship remains the primary route for most TPMs.
Which cities in Missouri have the most technical product manager sponsorship jobs?
Kansas City and St. Louis account for the majority of technical product manager sponsorship opportunities in Missouri. Kansas City leads due to Oracle Health's large engineering workforce and a growing fintech presence. St. Louis has a strong base in enterprise technology, logistics software, and financial services, with companies like World Wide Technology and Mastercard's regional operations contributing to TPM hiring activity.
How to find technical product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find technical product manager roles in Missouri where employers are actively willing to sponsor. You can narrow results by state and role type to surface relevant openings at companies like Oracle Health and World Wide Technology without sorting through listings from employers who don't sponsor. Creating an account lets you track new Missouri TPM postings as they appear.
Are there state-specific considerations for technical product managers seeking sponsorship in Missouri?
Missouri does not have state-level visa programs, so sponsorship follows standard federal H-1B rules. One practical consideration is that Missouri's technical product manager roles often sit within healthcare IT and enterprise software, sectors where employers are experienced with the sponsorship process. Candidates who have graduated from Missouri universities like Washington University in St. Louis or Missouri S&T may find that alumni networks connect them to local employers already familiar with international hiring.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical product manager jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
