ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines
- Prepare accurate repair orders, estimates, and timelines for service completion
- Communicate clearly with technicians regarding diagnostics and repairs
- Keep customers informed on the status of their vehicle throughout the service process
- Review completed work with customers, explaining services performed and associated costs
- Upsell additional services, maintenance, or repairs when appropriate
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with dealership standards
- Coordinate vehicle pick-up and delivery while ensuring a seamless handoff
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive or technical training preferred
- Service Advisor Experience required 3 years minimum with a New Car Dealership
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and service management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service and build lasting relationships
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
