Which companies in Massachusetts sponsor visas for account executives?
Technology and SaaS companies lead visa sponsorship for account executives in Massachusetts. HubSpot, Salesforce, Drift, Klaviyo, and Toast have all sponsored work visas for sales professionals in the Boston area. Life sciences companies including Veeva Systems and Oracle Health also hire account executives with sponsorship. Larger enterprise software firms tend to have established immigration programs and sponsor more consistently than smaller startups.
Which visa types are most common for account executive roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for account executives in Massachusetts, provided the role is structured as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or communications. The L-1B is an option for intracompany transfers moving to a Massachusetts office from an international location. Candidates from Australia may also qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may explore TN visa status under the USMCA.
How to find account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship jobs, including account executive roles in Massachusetts. You can filter by state and job title to surface employers who have a documented history of sponsoring work visas in sales. This is more efficient than searching general job boards, where sponsorship availability is rarely disclosed upfront. Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on roles where sponsorship is a realistic possibility.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most account executive sponsorship jobs?
Boston and Cambridge account for the large majority of account executive sponsorship opportunities in Massachusetts, driven by the Route 128 technology corridor and the Seaport District's growing SaaS presence. Waltham and Burlington also have significant concentrations of enterprise software firms that hire account executives. Worcester has a smaller but emerging tech presence. For international candidates, proximity to Boston tends to correlate with the highest density of sponsoring employers.
Are there any Massachusetts-specific considerations for account executives seeking visa sponsorship?
Massachusetts enforces strong employee protections, including a non-compete law that limits enforcement of non-compete agreements, which is worth understanding when reviewing offer terms. The state's concentration of universities, including MIT, Harvard, and Northeastern, creates a steady pipeline of internationally educated candidates competing for the same account executive roles. Employers in the life sciences sector may structure account executive roles differently from pure SaaS companies, which can affect how the position is classified for H-1B specialty occupation purposes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account executive jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
