Which companies sponsor visas for assistant account managers in Massachusetts?
Life sciences and financial services firms are among the most active sponsors in Massachusetts. Companies like Biogen, Takeda, Fidelity Investments, State Street, and HubSpot have histories of sponsoring work visas for account management roles. Large technology and professional services employers in the Greater Boston area also regularly file Labor Condition Applications for assistant account manager positions, which is a public indicator of sponsorship activity.
Which visa types are most common for assistant account manager roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for assistant account managers in Massachusetts, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. Candidates already holding F-1 student visas may work on OPT or STEM OPT before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship. L-1B visas are an option for candidates transferring within a multinational company into a Massachusetts-based position.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most assistant account manager sponsorship jobs?
Boston and Cambridge account for the majority of assistant account manager sponsorship opportunities in Massachusetts, driven by concentrations of biotech, financial services, and technology employers. Waltham and Lexington host significant life sciences company clusters along Route 128 and are active hiring markets. Worcester also has a growing presence, particularly for firms in healthcare and professional services sectors that hire internationally.
How to find assistant account manager visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters assistant account manager roles specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search Massachusetts without sorting through positions that don't sponsor. The platform aggregates openings from employers across Boston, Cambridge, and the Route 128 corridor. Focusing your search on life sciences, financial services, and SaaS technology firms in those areas will surface the highest concentration of actively sponsoring employers for this role type.
Are there state-specific considerations for assistant account managers seeking sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts employers must comply with federal prevailing wage requirements when sponsoring H-1B workers, and the state's high cost of living means wage floors for assistant account manager roles in Boston often exceed national averages. The state's strong university pipeline, including graduates from Boston University, Northeastern, and Tufts, means many employers already have immigration counsel and established sponsorship processes in place, which can benefit international candidates entering the job market here.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored assistant account manager jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
