Which companies in Minnesota sponsor visas for revenue managers?
Minneapolis-based corporations including Target, Best Buy, and UnitedHealth Group have documented histories of sponsoring H-1B visas for analytical and management roles. Large hotel management companies operating in the Twin Cities metro, along with regional healthcare systems like Mayo Clinic and Fairview Health Services, also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for revenue-focused positions requiring international talent.
Which visa types are most common for revenue manager roles in Minnesota?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for revenue manager positions in Minnesota, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related quantitative field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the NAFTA successor agreement, while those with extraordinary achievements in revenue management may explore O-1 visa classification.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most revenue manager sponsorship jobs?
The Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area accounts for the overwhelming majority of revenue manager sponsorship opportunities in Minnesota. Minneapolis proper hosts corporate headquarters in retail and financial services, while Saint Paul has a notable healthcare and government-adjacent employer presence. Rochester sees occasional openings tied to Mayo Clinic's hospitality and operational divisions, and Bloomington's Mall of America corridor attracts hospitality-sector revenue roles.
How to find revenue manager visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Minnesota employers actively seeking revenue managers from abroad without manually screening hundreds of postings. You can narrow results by state and role to surface positions at companies that have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for similar titles, saving significant time in your search.
Are there state-specific considerations for revenue managers pursuing sponsorship in Minnesota?
Minnesota employers must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements when filing a Labor Condition Application for H-1B sponsorship, and those wages are benchmarked to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul-Bloomington metropolitan statistical area for most openings. The University of Minnesota and regional business schools produce a local talent pipeline, so international candidates often strengthen their applications by highlighting specialized tools like revenue management software or industry-specific forecasting experience that differentiates them.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored revenue manager jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
