Construction Sr. Project Manager/Team Lead
Job Description Summary
As the Construction Team Lead-Sr Project Manager for Cushman & Wakefield’s Programs and Projects (P&P) team dedicated to the Humana Primary Care Organization (PCO) Team, you will manage a team of up to 7 project managers responsible for project management activities within the client’s clinical portfolio. You will play a critical role in bringing the best talent and creating opportunities for our associates to be great through coaching, development, and performance management. Responsible for coordinating and overseeing workflow, processes, and portfolio metrics. Reporting to the Managing Director of Programs and Projects, and partnering with Facilities Management, Transactions Team, Engineering, Senior Leaders and the client, you will help shape the strategy of the organization while developing and managing best practices across the team. You are expected to spend 25% of your time executing projects. Travel will also be needed as part of assigned project execution as well as support of the broader PCO team. (30-35%)
Job Description
The successful candidate will contribute professional project management experience while providing personal interaction with clients as well as internal and external vendor partners, architects, engineers, and contractors. The Team Lead monitors and coordinates the execution of the various services and processes relating to client contract agreements and helps coach and manage the PCO team to do the same. You will contribute to successful delivery of key strategic initiatives while leader and/or supporting various initiatives across the Programs and Projects Team. You will be responsible for the management of project management objectives while supporting process development, program improvement and quality initiatives on the Clinical P&P Team.
Education/Experience/Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10 or more years of related experience.
- Advanced project management skills with demonstrated understanding of project management business.
- Ability to support and/or lead business development initiatives as assigned or requested.
- Experience in client relations, client management, contract negotiations, and consulting skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate analyzed data to client and project team to achieve project goals.
- Strong working knowledge of architectural/engineering drawings, and construction concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $127,500.00 - $150,000.00
