ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Be Doing?
- Support department processes: Ensure established standards and controls are maintained
- Execute weekly payment cycle: Monitor and ensure payments are executed timely and accurately
- Process travel payments: Manage all travel payments while executing timely based on weekly/monthly due dates
- Partner with Accounting: Ensure financial transactions/adjustments are processed according to GAAP
- Execute department objectives: Report on team KPIs monthly to ensure strategic objectives are successfully executed
- Lead reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present accurate reporting to leadership and accounting
- Project management: Routinely lead special projects, including project initiation, planning, and execution
- Support automation efforts: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline reporting, processes, and systems

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What Makes You the Perfect Fit!
- BS/BA in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
- 0-2 years relevant business experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly related to accounts payable
- Ability to perform, interpret, and apply mathematical/financial formulas and concepts
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and circumstances, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret requests/instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and deliver requested information clearly and concisely
- Strong communication & customer service skills are required. Ability to adjust communication style for the audience
- Technical skills within MS Office such as Excel (above average), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; Experience in SAP or equivalent ERP tools; Banking systems a plus
