Job Description
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the implementation of engineering projects from start to finish, including technical design, budgeting, and timelines. The Project Engineer will lead a team of engineers and other professionals to ensure timely completion and high-quality execution of projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee engineering projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project timeline
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members
- Develop and maintain project budget and timeline, tracking progress against goals
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards
- Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders as needed to ensure project success
- Lead project team meetings, providing updates on project status and discussing any issues or challenges
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including technical drawings and project reports
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
