Which accounting companies sponsor TN visas in Missouri?
Large employers with significant accounting operations in Missouri include Edward Jones, Centene Corporation, Emerson Electric, and Cerner in the St. Louis area, along with major public accounting firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, and RSM that maintain Kansas City and St. Louis offices. Regional firms and healthcare systems like BJC HealthCare and Mercy Health also hire for accounting roles that qualify under TN status.
Which cities in Missouri have the most accounting TN sponsorship jobs?
St. Louis and Kansas City account for the vast majority of accounting TN sponsorship opportunities in Missouri. St. Louis has a strong concentration of Fortune 500 corporate headquarters with in-house accounting teams, while Kansas City's growing financial and professional services sector supports both public accounting firms and corporate finance departments. Columbia and Springfield have a smaller but active market, particularly in healthcare and education accounting.
What types of accounting roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
Under the TN visa category, qualifying accounting roles include accountant, auditor, financial analyst, tax specialist, and management accountant, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or a related field. Roles such as general bookkeeper or accounts payable clerk that do not require a qualifying degree typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard for TN classification.
How do I find accounting TN sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN-eligible professionals and filters accounting jobs in Missouri by visa sponsorship availability, so you're not sifting through listings from employers who won't support TN status. You can search by city and role type to find accountant, auditor, and tax specialist positions at Missouri employers who have a track record of sponsoring Canadian and Mexican professionals.
Are there any Missouri-specific considerations for accounting TN sponsorship?
Missouri does not impose additional state-level requirements on TN visa holders beyond standard federal immigration rules. However, accounting professionals seeking CPA licensure in Missouri must meet the Missouri State Board of Accountancy's education and examination requirements, which apply regardless of visa status. Employers in Missouri's healthcare and financial services sectors may also require CPA credentials or specific certifications as a condition of hire, which can affect TN petition documentation.
