Which companies sponsor visas for assistant account managers in Montana?
Visa sponsorship for assistant account managers in Montana comes primarily from larger regional employers. Financial institutions like Glacier Bancorp, healthcare networks such as Billings Clinic, and agricultural finance companies operating out of Billings and Missoula have filed Labor Condition Applications for business and account management roles. Smaller local firms sponsor less frequently, so targeting established multi-state employers gives international candidates the strongest footing.
Which visa types are most common for assistant account manager roles in Montana?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for assistant account manager positions, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. The TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose degree and duties align with eligible professional categories. The O-1 visa is rarely applicable for account management roles unless the candidate has documented extraordinary achievements in their field.
How to find assistant account manager visa sponsorship jobs in Montana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find assistant account manager openings in Montana without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. Searching by role and state on Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have an active sponsorship history, which is particularly useful in a smaller market like Montana where sponsoring employers are fewer but do exist across finance, insurance, and agriculture sectors.
Which cities in Montana have the most assistant account manager sponsorship jobs?
Billings is Montana's largest city and the primary commercial hub, concentrating the most assistant account manager opportunities in banking, energy, and agribusiness. Missoula follows, with activity in healthcare administration and regional financial services tied to the University of Montana's business community. Great Falls and Bozeman also see some hiring, particularly as Bozeman's tech and entrepreneurship scene continues to expand and attract larger employers with established HR and immigration infrastructure.
Are there state-specific considerations for assistant account manager visa sponsorship in Montana?
Montana's Department of Labor and Industry publishes prevailing wage data that employers must reference when filing Labor Condition Applications for H-1B roles, including assistant account manager positions. Because Montana has a smaller labor market than coastal states, the pool of sponsoring employers is more limited, and many positions are with companies that serve agriculture, natural resources, or regional banking. Candidates should prioritize employers with prior H-1B filing history, as first-time sponsors face a steeper administrative process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored assistant account manager jobs in Montana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
