Location: CUMC-Bergan Campus - 77th & Mercy (Urology Clinic)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call!
CHI Health is looking to add an amazing Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide / CNA) to our Urology family located at the CUMC-Bergan campus off of 77th & Mercy!
Why Urology?
Working in a Urology Clinic as a Medical Assistant can be a unique and rewarding experience compared to other specialties!
- Exposure to a Specialized and Varied Range of Procedures: Urology often involves a fascinating mix of in-office procedures that MAs can directly assist with, such as cystoscopies, catheterizations, prostate biopsies, and even minor surgeries. This offers more hands-on involvement and a deeper understanding of specific medical interventions!
- Opportunity to Develop Expertise in a Specific Medical Area: If you are interested in gaining specialized knowledge and becoming an expert in a particular field, urology offers that opportunity! You will learn extensively about the urinary tract and male reproductive system, common conditions like UTIs, kidney stones, incontinence, and prostate health, and the specific diagnostic tests and treatments involved!
- Directly Assisting Patients with Sensitive but Impactful Conditions: Urological conditions can be very personal and impact a patient's quality of life significantly. Working in this setting means you can play a crucial role in supporting patients through often sensitive conversations and uncomfortable procedures, from explaining preparations for a procedure to offering comfort during it.
- Potential for Advanced Skill Development (e.g., Catheterization, Specimen Handling): While all MA roles involve various skills, urology often requires particular proficiency in areas like sterile techniques for catheterization, precise specimen collection and handling for cultures and biopsies, and assisting with specialized equipment.
If the above speaks to you - please apply! We would love to speak with you!

Which companies in Nebraska sponsor visas for clinical support associates?
Nebraska Medicine and CHI Health in Omaha are among the largest healthcare employers in the state and have documented histories of sponsoring work visas for clinical support staff. Bryan Health and Children's Nebraska also hire in these roles. Sponsorship availability varies by position, department, and the employer's current workforce needs, so confirming sponsorship intent directly with the employer is important.
Which visa types are most common for clinical support associate roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for clinical support associates when the role meets specialty occupation requirements, typically requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant health sciences field. Some positions may also qualify under the TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals if the role maps to an eligible profession. Employers and immigration counsel determine which category applies based on the specific job duties.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most clinical support associate sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the largest share of clinical support associate openings in Nebraska, driven by Nebraska Medicine, CHI Health, and Children's Nebraska. Lincoln follows, with Bryan Health and several specialty clinic networks representing active employers. Smaller markets like Bellevue and Grand Island have a more limited number of positions, but regional hospital systems there do occasionally hire for these roles.
How to find clinical support associate visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters clinical support associate roles in Nebraska by visa sponsorship availability, so you are only seeing positions from employers open to sponsoring. Using Migrate Mate saves time compared to manually screening postings, since sponsorship status is surfaced directly. Roles across Omaha, Lincoln, and other Nebraska markets are listed as employers add positions.
Are there any state-specific considerations for clinical support associates seeking sponsorship in Nebraska?
Nebraska's relatively concentrated healthcare market means most sponsoring employers are large hospital systems rather than small private practices, which tend to have less infrastructure for immigration sponsorship. Candidates with clinical credentials evaluated and verified by a recognized credential assessment body are better positioned, as Nebraska-based employers often require documentation of foreign degree equivalency before extending a sponsorship offer.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored clinical support associate jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
