What you will do:
- Talk to our customers, and turn what you hear into technical solutions you drive through design, development, and delivery.
- Write clean, maintainable code while maintaining high standards for performance and reliability as the platform scales.
- Push back on solutions that are technically clean but don't solve the real customer problem, and make the case for the ones that do.
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers, helping strengthen engineering practices across the team.
- Identify and advocate for improvements that make the platform stronger over time.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to engineers, product partners, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to planning, retrospectives, and other agile practices that support consistent delivery.
Who you are and what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of experience building production software; taking ownership of problems from discovery to delivery, and driving solutions to completion.
- Prior experience at a B2B SaaS company, ideally where you’ve worked through scaling and reliability problems.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and C#/.NET.
- Fluency with AI-assisted engineering, using it to work faster without sacrificing quality.
- Strong understanding and experience with software design patterns and modern development practices (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
- Measure success by whether the solution actually works for the customer, not just whether it shipped.
- Contribute to a strong engineering environment by sharing knowledge, supporting and mentoring teammates, and helping raise technical standards.
