- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience in the data center construction industry with responsibility for national preconstruction, cost management, or estimating.
- 2 years of experience with modular cost and commercial portfolio performance.
- 2 years of experience with cost management, cost planning, estimating, negotiating, and project procurement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of experience working with multinational and dynamic technical data center construction programs/projects.

In this role, you will have responsibility for modular cost and commercial portfolio performance across multiple campuses and drive the efficient delivery of Google’s Data Center Portfolio through direct engagement in commercial discussions with regard to the cost alignment, driving cost/schedule optimization into our procurement awards. You will collaborate with Google Data Center (GDC) Partner Teams and Engineering Groups to support the delivery and management of Google's Capital Expenditure program. You will lead, with our procurement and agreement teams, the assessment and awarding of Key suppliers and subcontractors across the modular builds in North America. You will support local teams who will deliver cost planning and cost management for campuses in the area, creating impact and ensuring best value. You will support local teams who will lead cost management implementation with our General Contractors and Managed Service Suppliers. You will lead initiatives for continuous improvement of cost management with regard to commercial optimization unique to the Modular build space.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$280,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Drive the efficient delivery of Google’s Data Center Modular Build Portfolio in North America by developing comprehensive commercial and procurement strategies.
- Support pre-construction activities and project establishment across various locations to ensure successful infrastructure deployment.
- Execute end-to-end cost management consistently while ensuring the portfolio is delivered within budget and on time.
- Capture program learnings and rapidly share insights across the portfolio to improve delivery standards and operational efficiency.
- Analyze and utilize captured data to drive actions that create best value and accelerate delivery timelines.
