JOB SUMMARY: To timely and accurately process E-Commerce orders following procedures to ensure the facility goals are met.
e-commerce general warehouse ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform multiple job functions on a given shift
- Ability to perform job functions accurately in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Process incoming shipments following procedures
- Perform audit requirements following procedures
- Place empty storage bins and MTUs neatly in designated locations
- Accurately place units into storage bins directed by WMS
- Accurately pick all units following procedures
- Perform exception functions on the MTUs and storage bins following procedures
- Process damaged units following procedures
- Dispose of cardboard as directed
- Perform counts as needed
- Retrieve and induct units from MTUs into put-wall
- Retrieve units from put-wall
- Operate autobaggers following procedures
- Perform special projects and tasks as requested
- Perform MTU maintenance as instructed following procedures
- Process loose units back into system following procedures
- Ability to acquire certification for use of powered equipment
- Ability to operate powered equipment based on business needs
- Complete required paperwork following procedures
- General clean-up of floor and work area on a continuous basis
E-commerce OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience
TECHNICAL:
- Operation of (RF) handheld scanner and P.C.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in all applicable P.C., scanner interfaces and WMS systems (Manhattan)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to continuously read and verify scanner data against location/container labels and unit tags
- Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to frequently lift and move containers up to 50 lbs from below the waist to overhead
- Mobility necessary to work all levels of building
- Ability to go up and down stairs
- Ability to continuously stand where required
- Maintain control of conveyors and carts at all times
